Using our PRO or Basic package? You also can access our email Autoresponders & email broadcasting tools. This intro video gives an overview of our email autoresponder system.
Keeping in touch with your customers is one of the best ways to increase return business to your store.
By taking advantage of the built-in email autoresponder system in your software, its possible to create personalized automated email campaigns, which contacts can be automatically subscribed to based on their purchases, or which they can subscribe to themselves through a contact form or the customer log-in portal.
Clicking autoresponders under the Email and Marketing drop-down will take you to the autoresponder campaigns main page.
To begin creating a new autoresponder, click the Create New button and provide a name and a description for your new autoresponder.
Flagging this autoresponder and Featured will make it possible for contacts registered through your customer log-in portal to be subscribed to this autoresponder manually, as well as making it visible in any other places where customers can manually subscribe to your autoresponders.
Just below, the Unsubscribe box will list any other autoresponders you have created, giving you the option to unsubscribe contacts from the selected autoresponders at the time that they subscribed to the one you are creating whether they have chosen to subscribe themselves or have been subscribed automatically by making a purchase.
For your first autoresponder, you will not have any available campaigns to unsubscribe from, but you can come back and edit these selections after you have created the campaigns that you intend to.
The Name and Email fields allow you to control the displayed source name and email for the email messages, and the Campaign Type will help you classify your campaign when searching for them later.
Finally, you can select and preview the template for the opt-in message that customers will be required to confirm before receiving messages from this campaign. Click Save to save your configuration.
